'There's some sort of role that in a way I think some people think is some sort of trend, but it's really a rite of passage.' But while playing a young woman going through the particular struggle her character Eliza goes through in Saints was appealing, she also hopes audiences see beyond that and also don't just see it as her taking a role to check 'Knocked Up Girl' off of some cinematic checklist. 'I feel like for guys it's maybe playing a transgender and for girls it's playing a pregnant teen,' she says. Like, say, playing a pregnant punk in Ten Thousand Saints.
